Research Activities
Dr. Tina Thurston will continue her Archaeological Field School in Thy, Denmark in the summer of 2004. This field school has been conducted since 1997 in conjunction with Dr. Thurston's NSF funded research project on Iron Age Denmark.
The Archaeological Survey conducts ongoing cultural resource management (CRM) surveys in the western New York region. The Archaeological Survey, under the direction of Dr. Doug Perelli, is a not-for-profit research, contracting and applied archaeology institution within the Department of Anthropology at the State University of New York at Buffalo (UB).
