Subject: Letter published "The Australian" Newspaper

I am the Senior Legal Officer of The University of Western Australia.

You are shown as the author of a letter published in the Higher Education
supplement of the Australian newspaper today.

In the letter you have given the web address of a site dealing with the
Rindos case.  The site contains material which is defamatory of the Vice
Chancellor of this University and several of its academic and
administrative staff. The University has taken steps against the
administrators of the site.

You are now informed of the defamatory content of the web page.

I have instructed the University's solicitors to write to you and the
publisher in connection with the publication of the Site address.
