Sunday Times (Perth) 23 January 1994 SEX-FAVORS CLAIM AT UNI Three senior University of WA academics were warned in a confidential memo that archaeology students received favoured treatment after having sex with an unnamed senior academic. The claim was revealed in a Freedom of Information document obtained by sacked UWA archaeologist, Dr David Rindos. Dr Rindos is fighting to clear his name after he was denied permanency at UWA. In preparing his case, which will go before the WA Industrial Relations Commission on Tuesday, Dr Rindos sought UWA documents under FOI. He said the memo alleging sexual favors was one of 30 he obtained. It was sent to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Allan Robson, and the Head of Arts, Professor John Jory. A copy also went to the Vice-Chancellor.
