- Spring Speaker Series- Lawrence Shell spoke on March 6th and has expressed that he enjoyed coming and thanked us for having him. Cultural anthropologist John Omohundro will be speaking on April 13th at 5:00 PM. Archaeologist George Cowgill will be speaking on April 27th. More details will be forthcoming on both of these events.
- Volunteer Work- The AGSA still needs 20 hours of volunteer work at Hope Refugee Services in order to receive our $250.00. If you can volunteer any time on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday mornings please contact Amber. We are hoping to accumulate these hours within the next two weeks.
- Computer Lab- We have the plaque thanking the Sub-board for their funding required by the grant and it will be put up once a certificate has been made. Ben is going to try and have all of the computers printing by the Quals Typing Party. As a reminder the printer by the door is not online but does print using Brother (Copy 1). The new computer on the left is online and will print if put on a wired connection.
- Typing Party- There will be a Typing Party the day of the Qualifying Exam for physical and archaeology first years to have their answers typed. There are only four computers in the lab so people may bring their laptops if they wish. Pizza and beer will be served.

- Special Activities- There will be an AGSA happy hour in early April, tentatively at the Lafayette Taproom. Date forthcoming.

- GSEU- Mia reported that some progress has been made toward a contract. Meetings are finally being held concentrating primarily on optical, dental, and drug coverage.
TA's and GA's are planning on demonstrating on campus in the near future.
The possibility of TA's and GA's losing part or all of their tuition scholarship was discussed. Also, there is a possibility that TA and GA lines may be cut and new line not created.
- Curriculum Committee- No report.
- GSA- Bill Nye tickets will be available at Alumni Arena on April 1st from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon and April 2nd from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
The GSA is low on conference funding so if you are planning on applying for funding it should be done soon.
Editorial assistance for papers is available at 310 Student Union from 4:00-7:00 PM on Fridays
- Faculty Committee- The college is encouraging senior professors to retire without making any plans to replace them.
Phyllis' last day is March 31st. Amy Jones will be filling in for her until the end of the semester. The AGSA will be getting a Phyllis a gift to thank her for her years of service.

- Grievance Committee- No report.
- IEMA- Andre made some suggestions to IEMA regarding ways for providing credit through UB for undergrads attending student run projects and charging membership fees to people interested in being associated with IEMA from outside the university.
The committee appointed to create a proposal for a student conference has not yet met. More details will be forthcoming about this once a proposal is submitted, hopefully by April.
- Coffee Hours- There will be a coffee hour next week either Tuesday or Thursday. Ray will be sending out an email with details soon.
- There will be a farewell happy hour tomorrow at 5:00 PM at the Marriott on Millersport for Patrick. Patrick is leaving for Austria to do fieldwork.
