AGSA Minutes - August 29, 2001

Welcome Back!!!

NEXT MEETING:   SEPTEMBER 12, 2001   10 AM   GRAD LOUNGE

Today marks the beginning of the fall 2001 AGSA activities.

The following allocations were made:

50$ to Sue Maguire for beer for the picnic on September 8th
70$ to Tammy Butner for food, non-alcoholic Beverages, and ice for the
picnic on September 8th:
20$ to Bill McFarlane for coffee, doughnuts and bagels, for the next meeting
on September 12

The Schedule for nominations will run as follows:

Friday, September 7: Nominations will close.  Nominations can be made via
email, or through the ballots in your mailboxes.

Friday, September 14: Elections will close and all results must be reported
to Jennifer Randall (randeezi@hotmail.com).  Votes can be made through email
or through paper ballots in mailboxes.

The most important aspect of this meeting was the discussion of the level of
participation. All first year students and others are encouraged to attend
the next meeting which will be held on September 12, 2001 at 10 am in the
grad lounge.  Coffee, doughnuts and bagels will be provided.  Please take
part in the activities sponsored and organized through the AGSA.  Everyone
is already a member and you should take your chance to voice your opinion on
where the money is being spent.

Best of luck with the new semester and we hope to see some new faces at the
next meeting!!!!!

Final Comment: President William Macfarlane observed that the plants in the
grad lounge are officially DEAD!
