Friday was the Grant Writing Workshop and it was a big success. A big thanks should go out to all of those involved and to the professors who offered their advice and time. Treasurer Sue Maguire reported that there is 600$ left in the budget. It was then passed that 100 $ be allocated for the mid-semseter party at Clara's house. 50$ to Clara Banderali for food and 50$ to Jennifer Randall for alcohol. The following allocations were voted on and passed (these amounts were deducted before reaching the 600$ figure) - 25$ for IRWEG's luncheon series - 10$ for the Archeometry Meeting (IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING TO PRESENT PLEASE SEE HOLLY OR EVA!!!!!!!!!!!!!) - 25$ for the Africanist Institute - 25$ for the Latin Graduate Student Association Money was then allocated for the purchase of the following items for the equipment in the grad lounge: - 150$ for the toner cartridge for the copy machine - 50$ for the printer cartridges for the printer. Bill then reported that the laser printer is not functioning properly, it was decided no money would be allocated for fixing at this time. Just a reminder: It is the policy of the University at Buffalo AGSA to refuse ALL requests for money to attend conferences.
