1. 25$ were approved for a donation to the IREWG INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S FILM
FESTIVAL. The money is issued to Rebecca Morrow.

The 5th Annual IREWG Women's International Film Festival will be held on
Thursdays, January 25 - March 15, 7pm, at the Dipson's Market Arcade
Theater, 639 Main Street downtown (across from Shea's Theater).

2. The SAAs are from April 18-22 and the AAPA are March 28-31. There will
be practice sessions for people who are presenting at the national meetings
this spring or anyone who wants to practice presenting their research. The
Physical session will be held on March 16th (location and exact time will be
announced at a later date). 30$ was allocated to Casey Coke for
refreshments. The Archeology session will be held on April 6th (location
and exact time will be announced at a later date). 30$ was allocated to Dan
Mazeau for refreshments.

3. Funding/ Grant writing workshop
It has been decided that there will be a funding workshop held the week of
february 14th. Anyone who can contribute any experience to this seminar
would be greatly appreciated. Exact time, location, etc will be coming
soon!!!

4. Mid-semester PARTY is tentatively set for March 16th, still looking for
a place to have it, but Clara is workin on it.

5. Next meeting will be a Budget discussion, Sue can you be there?

6. Computer lab is progressing very nicely and is always willing to accept
any donations.

7. The Capital Equipment Grant was denied because it took up half the
budget that could be allocated, so the office has been gracious enought to
allow AGSA to resubmit. It was recommended that the grant be rewritten (we
had originally asked for a digital video camera) for a Power POint
Projector.

8. Equipment was a big discussion. AGSA would like to prioritize a list of
equipment that graduate students would like to have, please email the list
serve with any suggestions that you have and we will see what resources we
can use to make any purchases in the future. Some suggestions included:
slide scanner, digital camera, digital videocamera, power point projector.
Please provide your input as well.

9. With conferences coming up in the spring, here is the procedure for
obtaining the money that the GSA will give you for going to a conference.
You must come to an AGSA meeting, ask for the money, you will be denied, it
will be written in the minutes and then you can go to GSA and collect your
150$. This is a one shot deal, so do use it in your career here at Buffalo
and it was thought that you have to be presenting, in order to receive the
money.

Repectfully submitted,

Jennifer Randall,
Secretary
