AGSA Minutes - February 3, 2000

In Attendance:
Dan Mazeau, Sue Maguire, Kat Heffley, Tom Brunton, Carina Iezzi, Katie Ainsworth, and Natasha Snyder

Business:

1. The Comparative Lit. dept. is organizing a conference to be held on Apr. 14 and 15. Topic is European Culture at the turn of the century. AGSA approved a $25 co-sponsorship. Larry Arnhard will be a keynote speaker.
2. Our current president, Bill McFarlane, will be going into the field for the remainder of the semester. Dan Mazeau has been elected president for the remainder of the semester. Kat Heffley was elected VP.
3. Colloquia and Symposia
   Dan Mazeau has three definite and one tentative symposia lined for this semester. AGSA voted to allocate $50 to each symposia for refreshments. Total allocation: $200.
4. AGSA approved $100 for the spring picnic.
