AGSA Minutes - September 11, 1997

In Attendance:

1. Tom and others explained what the AGSA does and how funding worked.
2. Funding for travel money for conference attendance - all requests will be refused. Motion by Tim, seconded by Maury. Vote unanimous.
3. Tom with help from others explained the duties of the officers and committee representatives and then opened the floor for nominations
4. Nominations as follows:
   • President - Monika Bolino, David Nolin, Rick Brown
   • Vice President - Seth Murray
   • Treasurer - Peter Hoeman, Rick Brown
   • Secretary - Erik Kjeldgaard, Dan Jones, Rick Brown
   • Senators (2) - Tim Sullivan, Tom Brunton
   • Senate Alternates (4) - John Floyd, Fred Rawski, Maury Hutcheson, Jeanine Giffear
   • Department Meeting (2) - John Floyd, Maury Hutcheson, Peter Hoeman, Fred Rawski
   • Graduate Committee (2) - Tom Brunton, Fred Rawski, Karen Niemel, Fabio Amador
   • Undergraduate Committee (1) - Jennifer Coe
   • Curriculum Committee (1) Bill McFarlane, Karen Niemel
5. Tim reported on last nights Senate meeting - computer availability, speakers and festivals.
6. Jeannine and Monika talked about organizing a trip to the AAA meetings in D.C. - Hotel, van, dates etc.
