- Old Business
- I .AGSA sponsorship of AAA Workshop and K. Niemel's colloquium.
- 2. Old computers in grad lounge surplused
- 3. Monika Bolino needs volunteers for help with the Archaeometry Conference. Contact her.
- 4. Request that AGSA take over major sponsorship of Archaeometry Conference.
Motion to approve this.
- New Business
- 1. Cosponsorship of Haitian Students' Association for the band, Zin., they are bringing this spring
- 2. Sponsorship of Braswell's colloquium.
- 3. Request for cosponsorship of Classics Dept. conference, 'Points of Reference."
Deadline for abstracts is 2/l/98.
- 4. NEAAs deadline for papers also 2/1.
- 5. Mark Diamond Research Fund workshop will be held first week of February.
- Votes
- 1. Cosponsorship of $25 for HSA to bring band-unanimous in favor.
- 2. $25 for cosponsorship of History Dept. Plesur Conference-unanimous.
- 3. $30 for cartridge for inkjet printer in grad lounge-unanimous.
- 4. $20 for refreshments for Mark Diamond Research Fund workshop-unanimous
- 5. Move to recommend purchase of CD ROM version of National Geographic to
department, approved unanimously.
- 6. Move for AGSA to write letter to department regarding conflicts in course scheduling,
approved unanimously.
