This is an introductory MIS course. We will study the importance of
MIS from a managerial perspective, rather than a technical one. In addition
to learning various approaches to MIS in modern business organizations,
the course will also introduce database concepts and have hands-on experience
in developing database applications using Microsoft Access 2.0 and creating
small spreadsheet applications to support decision making using Lotus 1-2-3
or Microsoft Excel 5.0.
