We are recognized as the number one school for research in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics in the world. We have outstanding facilities for pharmacokinetics, including a new
pharmacogenetics facility and a shared instrument facility.
Although this is one of the most difficult programs in the country, we have some of the best students who seem to thrive in this challenging environment. It is great to see students do well and develop new ideas for the first time. And even after years of research I can say there is still nothing better than watching data with students as it comes off the instrument. Is it what you thought—how and why is it different from your anticipated result? This is the essence of research.
