Hartley F. Hutchins, Jr. CIH, CSP, is certified by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene as well as the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in the comprehensive practice of Industrial Hygiene and Safety.  He is also a Diplomat of the American Academy of Industrial Hygiene.

Mr. Hutchins has over 30 years experience in the public and private sector with over 25 years in process engineering, environmental, and health and safety activities.  He was most recently manager of global process engineering activities for Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems.  These activities focused on developing new Bill of Process manufacturing chemical processes that included Design in Safety initiatives to meet various health, safety and environmental requirements and regulations.  Mr. Hutchins has had previous work experiences with the Illinois Geological Survey as a coal chemist, as a high school chemistry teacher and as a formulation chemist with a large fertilizer, and pesticide manufacturer.

Mr. Hutchins has served as Chairman of the Niagara Frontier Air Pollution and Waste Management Association as well as the Western New York American Industrial Hygiene Association.  He has been a tutor/mentor with Empire State College, SUNY for the past 20 years teaching various environmental, health and safety courses.  He has a B.S. in biological science/chemistry from the University of Illinois and a M.S. in biological/environmental sciences from Illinois State University.
