All EMS care providers are instructed to contact medical control PRIOR to administering any nitroglycerin to a patient who has taken Viagra within the previous 24 hours.

Administration of nitroglycerine to a patient who has recently taken Viagra may result in a large and sudden drop in systemic blood pressure, and, possibly death.
