The Writing Place is a free tutoring service where undergraduate students can receive feedback on their writing, work on getting ideas organized or perfecting their grammar.

Students are encouraged to bring in papers, essays, projects, and any kind of writing assignment. Specific areas to be addressed include: creating a thesis, organization and development, sentence structure, and punctuation. After meeting with a tutor, he or she may suggest a second conference to work on the same piece, depending upon the degree of progress.
