Submissions

The Buffalo Environmental Law Journal welcomes unsolicited manuscripts on topics of contemporary legal significance, especially those addressing environmental law issues affecting the Great Lakes and Eastern Regions of the United States and Canada. The Editors consider typical legal scholarly articles, comments, notes, and book reviews. Each fact and proposition should be footnoted appropriately. Manuscripts should be double or triple spaced, with a title page showing the author's name, address, telephone number, and professional background. Manuscripts can also be submitted on 3.25" floppy disk. If submission is on disk, a hard copy title page must be submitted. The submission should be a Microsoft Word format. Submissions should conform to A Uniform System of Citation (17th edition, 2000) -- aka The Bluebook. The Journal cannot return manuscripts without a self-addressed, postage paid envelope.

The Journal reserves editorial privilege with regard to all matters of form, including but not limited to, diction, grammar, spelling, syntax, and matters of convention, as well as accuracy of citations. The Journal reserves the right to accept or reject articles with or without cause.
